General Terms and Conditions A Touch of Africa

  1. The terms and conditions apply to orders placed with atouchofafrica.ch.

After completing your order, you will receive an automatic confirmation that we have received your order (confirmation of receipt). After receipt of payment, we will send the ordered goods with PostPac Priority.

In the case of larger products (furniture, bulky goods, etc.), a definitive order is only placed when you receive a separate order confirmation by e-mail.

We deliver exclusively in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein. Deliveries abroad are only possible by arrangement. The same applies to deliveries weighing more than 30 kg.

  1. Prices

The prices are inclusive of VAT. Transport costs will be charged additionally.

  1. Payment

Delivery is made against advance payment. We accept as means of payment: Postcard, Mastercard, Visa and Paypal.

  1. Shipping costs

PostPac Priority prices and conditions apply:

Up to 10 kg CHF 10.70 Max. Mass: 100 x 60 x 60 cm

Up to 30 kg CHF 23.00 Max. Mass: 100 x 60 x 60 cm

Bulky goods up to 30 kg: CHF 31.00, maximum dimensions: length 250 cm, circumference and length together (2x height + 2x width + longest side) maximum 400 cm.

For deliveries weighing more than 30 kg and/or higher dimensions than specified for bulky goods, the method of delivery must be agreed, e.g. pick up yourself, hire a transport company.

If PostPac’s prices change, we will adjust our shipping costs accordingly.

  1. Quality guarantee

The majority of our products are handmade. This means that there are variations in size, shape and colour. There may also be small inconsistencies compared to industrially manufactured products, e.g. in the pattern. This is normal and also the charm of handmade products.

We check the products and therefore there should be no gross defects. Should this be the case, you can return your product to us at our expense and we will send you a replacement product.

  1. Right of return

You can return the product within 14 days of receipt. However, you must pay the transport costs yourself. We will then reimburse you for the amount spent on the product or credit you for this amount.

An exception to this rule are defective products, for which we will pay the return shipping costs. You can then choose between reimbursement of the product costs or replacement of the product.

  1. Data protection

Personal customer data will be treated confidentially at all times and will not be passed on to third parties.

  1. Changes to the General Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to change the GTC unilaterally. Those GTC apply that are published in the webshop.

  1. Jurisdiction

The place of jurisdiction is Bern, Switzerland. Swiss law shall apply.
